An Emirati man from Ajman went to the police in Sharjah to correct a mistake they had made in issuing a traffic fine.<\/p>\n

His daughter had committed the traffic violation but a mistake in recording the number plate of the vehicle meant that a different individual would of received the fine.<\/p>\n

His daughter admitted her mistake to him<\/h3>\n

While on a main road she had blocked oncoming traffic in\u00a0Sharjah’s Muwaileh area.<\/p>\n

When recording the offence the licence plate of a different vehicle was recorded and so an innocent motorist was penalised with the fine.<\/p>\n

When\u00a0Ali Al Thahiry learned of his daughters traffic violation and the police mistake he was adamant to correct the small injustice.<\/p>\n

He went to the police and ensured that they correct the mistake and, rightfully,\u00a0penalise his daughter\u00a0instead of an innocent person.<\/p>\n

His honesty was applauded by the police.<\/p>\n

While his daughter may not be too happy to be turned in to the police,\u00a0it’s certainly an effective lesson in honesty<\/h3>\n
