Biffy Clyro announced a Hard Rock Cafe concert date in Dubai this April and people lost all chill.

The three-piece Scottish rock group has a loyal fanbase, many of whom were eager to get their hand on tickets to the show.

Early bird tickets were announced at AED300, you could put your name on a list and pre-register an email as soon as these tickets went on sale.

Once early bird tickets are gone, the price ups to AED350 before the final selling price of AED 400.

Lovin Dubai spoke to one disgruntled resident who outlined the ticketing chaos…

“Last week they told people to pre-register for early bird tickets.

An email went out to that list saying: One day next week you will get an email, at 9am the following day you’ll get early bird tickets.

No email went out, but they posted on social to “rearrange your Wednesday”, tickets were going on sale at 9am on Weds (no email).

Wednesday, 9am, no tickets on sale… In the AFTERNOON, like at 4pm or so, they posted a message saying sorry there’s an issue, tickets tomorrow.

No mention of time etc, just “tomorrow”.

Thursday, no tickets, finally at around 4pm the email went out, early bird gone right away so everyone had to get the more expensive ones.

Absolute disaster!”
