The initial phase of this weather cycle brings fair to partly cloudy skies

Coastal regions can expect comfortable highs in the mid-to-high 20s, while the interior is set to reach the low 30s. With light winds and calm seas initially, conditions remain pleasant, though this stability is a precursor to a more active system moving into the region.

By Monday and Tuesday, the UAE will feel the full effect of a fresh northwesterly breeze. This “Shamal” wind will likely kick up dust and sand, significantly reducing visibility on the roads.

Commuters are advised to exercise caution during this period, as the freshening winds will be accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperatures. The Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will remain turbulent, with waves forecasted to be rough to very rough.

Wednesday to Friday may bring another round of rainfall

Focusing primarily on coastal, western, and eastern regions. As the week progresses, the unsettled conditions are expected to taper off, with sea conditions gradually stabilizing.
