The weather is finally cooling down and giving way to exciting new activities in Dubai and the\u00a0City Half Marathon is DEFFO one of them.<\/p>\n

Taking place in the heart of Dubai, Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), fitness fanatics and runners, mark our words, this half marathon will be like no other. Along with taking up the fitness challenge, runners will be getting to run loops around the world\u2019s most picturesque landscape as they push themselves beyond all limits. Let\u2019s get that #EatingWithAView changed to #RunningWithAView this 2019.<\/p>\n

This half marathon will take place\u00a0during the annual 30×30 Dubai Fitness Challenge that’s endorsed by Dubai’s very own Crown Prince.<\/p>\n

Dare to push your limits on Friday, October 25 when you you’re running amidst Dubai’s most iconic landmarks<\/h2>\n

The first-ever half marathon in the heart of Dubai, 21km, 10km, 5km runs as well as a 2.5km community run on offer.<\/p>\n

This will be one of the major events taking place during the city’s annual 30×30 fitness challenge starting on\u00a0Friday, October 18 to Saturday, November 16 throughout Dubai.<\/p>\n

The 2.5km category is not only for those looking to get fit, but its also for those who want to go for a chill jog – just to get up and moving whilst having some fun while they’re at it.<\/p>\n

There are also loads of great activities\u00a0such as music bands, complimentary yoga, kids workshops, free F&B\u00a0 initiated by DIFC to ensure it’s a fun morning for erraonee!<\/p>\n

Find your happy pace as you’re taking in the breathtaking views of the Dubai skyline<\/h2>\n

The running track will begin in front of The Gate building at DIFC.<\/p>\n

The 2.5km community-run which will be flagged off by Joe Wicks will take place on Friday 25th\u00a0October at 9.30am following the 5km, 10km and half marathon at DIFC. A lot of exciting activities will be taking place during the marathon, where an appearance from a fitness star is also planned for the day.<\/p>\n

Joe Wicks will also be taking part in the half marathon so don’t be surprised if you catch someone looking like him on the course… 99.9% chances are that its Joe Wick himself<\/h2>\n

Joe Wicks, also known as The Body Coach will also be flying the flag to start the 2.5km event.<\/p>\n

The marathon’s running course has been measured by the\u00a0International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) and endorsed by\u00a0the Dubai Sports Council<\/h2>\n

Khalid Ali Al Awar, Director of Sports Events Department\u00a0has raved about the marathon route’s brilliant backdrop that even those who aren’t hard-core runners are going to love experiencing.<\/p>\n
