In case you missed it, an art collector purchased a banana duct-taped to a gallery wall at Art Basel, Miami.

The collector paid $120,000, and the news immediately went viral.

Is it art? Is it a banana? Is it worthless now that someone went and ATE the banana?

One thing’s for sure, content creators saw the sale and are, understandably, peeved, howzabout people pay more for seriously beaut shots?

UAE based photographer Altamash posted his own joke take on #bananagate, asking for a minimum bid of $119,999 on this perfect symmetrical shot of the Burj K.

A banana sold for $120,000 @artbasel while I’m trying to sell this as a print for $119,999 (min bid plz)
