On Thursday, February 6, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council publically announced the newly approved\u00a0code of conduct and ethical standards for Dubai government employees.<\/p>\n

This new\u00a0decree was decided on\u00a0during the council\u2019s meeting, chaired on Thursday\u00a0by Shaikh Hamdan, in the presence of Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and first deputy of the council.\u00a0Shaikh Hamdan approved the list of guidelines that public ALL sector employees must\u00a0abide by whilst on duty.<\/p>\n

Under the\u00a0official\u00a0directive of\u00a0His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Dubai government will aim to develop laws and regulations that enable public sector employees to perform their duties in accordance with the highest international standards.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0code of conduct and ethical standards document main objectives are to protect employee rights, create a safe work environment free of any and all discrimination, and provide\u00a0mechanisms to address grievances<\/h2>\n
