Who hasn’t heard of the UAE resident who paid AED 33 million for a number plate? Where have you been mate?<\/p>\n
Anyway,\u00a0businessman Balwinder Sahani bought the number plate D5 at\u00a0a Roads and Transport Authority auction earlier this month. The same guy has been fined AED\u00a01,000 and four black points for parking in a space reserved for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n
Needless to say it went viral.\u00a0It shows\u00a0the driver parked the car and less than a minute later the owner gets inside.<\/p>\n
Lt Gen Al Mazeina of Dubai Police told Gulf News the\u00a0owner apologised for the incident. He also stated the number plate does not matter –\u00a0everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. True that!<\/p>\n
