A repeat of the violation will result in double the penalty, and a third offence will lead to fines of AED1,500 with the vehicle impounded for a month.<\/p>\n<div style='clear:both;'><\/div>\n<p><!--infeed--><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.lovin.co\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/1\/2021\/08\/03103424\/dubai-palm-.png\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium\"><\/p>\n<h2>This announcement was the result of months of campaigning by concerned residents living in the area<\/h2>\n<p>Last year, in December 2020 it was reported that a British Dubai-based dad was killed in a jet ski accident close to Palm Jumeirah.
