She is a 12-year-old student at the GEMS Modern Academy Dubai. She just received the top honour of her exceptional performance in school AND college ability test (SCAT)<\/p>\n<p>She took the test as part of the Johns Hopkins Centre for Talented Youth (CTY) Talent Search, according to the university. In spring 2020, Priyamvada was in grade 6 when she took the test. It was split into 2 sections; verbal and quantitative. She qualified for the quantitative section and levelled with the advanced Grade 10 in the verbal part of the exam. JUST WOW!<\/p>\n<p>She earned the prestigious Johns Hopkins CTY &#8216;High Honours Award&#8217; and got the pin this week!<\/p>\n<p>From a young age, her parents noticed her fondness for reading and drove inspiration from her brother who is now a university student. When he was in the 8th grade, he was among the first UAE students to have cleared the Duke University Talent Identification Programme (TIP).<\/p>\n<p>Priyamvada wasn&#8217;t able to receive her certificate right away due to COVID-19, however she attended an English literature programme at John Hopkins. We know she will go places! Even Virginia Roach, the executive director of CTY thinks so.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>We are thrilled to celebrate these students.
