HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum<\/a>, Dubai’s Crown Prince, congratulated government entities after Dubai was named the ‘World’s Most Resilient City’ by the United Nations.<\/span><\/p>\n

The city ranked first globally for its resilience and was acknowledged by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction for its best practices and innovative approaches in disaster risk reduction.<\/p>\n

The Crown Prince congratulated government entities for the recognition and the role each person played<\/h2>\n

The heads of government entities said the directives of Sheikh Mohammed, and the continuous follow up of HH Sheikh Hamadan bin Mohammed and His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, have helped Dubai become a smart, sustainable and resilient city that provides a robust infrastructure and world-leading service quality, according to Dubai Media Office.<\/span><\/p>\n

@UNDRR<\/a>\u2019s recognition acknowledges #Dubai<\/a>\u2019s adoption of best practices and innovative approaches in disaster risk reduction. Dubai was ranked first globally in term of resilience. It was also the only city to be recognised among 56 cities shortlisted from 4,357 competing cities.<\/p>\n
