HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the release of 659 prisoners of different nationalities from the penal and correctional institution in Dubai, ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

The pardon of inmates ahead of Ramadan is an opportunity to give them a start at a new life<\/h2>\n

On this occasion, Chancellor Essam Issa Al Humaidan, Attorney General of Dubai, said that His Highness Sheikh Mohammed\u2019s order to pardon the prisoners is an opportunity for them to start a new life and is aimed at alleviating their families\u2019 hardship, as well as giving them the opportunity to reintegrate themselves into society.<\/p>\n

The Attorney General also said that the public prosecution has immediately commenced the legal procedures to implement Sheikh Mohammed\u2019s order so that the pardoned individuals can join their families as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
