However, the leaders of these gulf states must remain firm and strong for the safety of the people. And all security measure put in place from today, including the closure of land road and air routes were done for safety and protection.<\/p>\n

“We cannot forever blind our eyes and close our ears to the truth staring us in the face.”<\/p>\n

An Appeal – don’t take it personally<\/h3>\n

“I would appeal to my Qatari brothers and sisters not to take the severing of diplomatic relations with Doha by the Kingdom, the UAE and Bahrain personally. We have been left with no choice.”<\/p>\n

The Qatari people share the same traditions and values with the rest of the Middle East and Mr. Habtoor doesn’t believe the people of Qatar condone the behaviour of their ruler.<\/p>\n

Jordan, Morocco and Sudan will soon join the boycott<\/h3>\n

According to Habtoor and he hopes Kuwait and\u00a0the Sultanate of Oman will soon follow suit. While the business man hopes for a short separation, he says there is “no turning back unless Qatar can find a way to redeem itself and the Emir should step down and allow for more honest members of the family to step up.<\/p>\n

“Come back to us, Qatar!”<\/h3>\n
