It looks like Dubai’s making waves in the best way possible

The city’s got a wet ‘n’ wild goal: recycle every drop of water they can while giving the salty stuff a break. By 2030, Dubai’s hoping to hit the 100% water reuse mark and slash desalinated water and power use by 30%.

Dubai’s been on this very mission for over five decades. And they’ve already reclaimed a staggering 90% of their water! This recycled water isn’t just sittin’ around—it’s out there making plants green, buildings cool, and putting out fires.

The Dubai Municipality’s not holding back either. They’ve got wastewater treatment plants in Al Khawaneej, Warsan, and Jebel Ali, working hard to give water a makeover

And they’re saving a jaw-dropping AED2 billion every year! That’s some serious money-saving sprinkled with a dash of eco-friendliness.
