They signaled the patrol and the policeman asked them to follow him but because of the low visibility they lost him eventually.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily another 4&#215;4 vehicle drove past them and guided them to the main road.<\/p>\n<p>It just so happened the former policeman (who was still looking for them on the highway) was still waiting for them on a further point on the highway and drove them all the way back to the entrance of\u00a0Umm Al Quwain.<\/p>\n<p>The family told Khaleej Times that they were extremely thankful to the police and felt extremely blessed to live in such a safe country.\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-adunit c-adunit--mpu_mid\">\n<div id=\"mpu_mid\" class=\"c-adunit__container\"> <\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"An Indian family based in Umm Al Quwain were stranded in the middle of desert during a near zero visibility fog, earlier last week.
