Remain calm and do not panic<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; Fasten seatbelt and switch on hazard lights<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; Call 999 immediately to report the incident<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; Shift the gear to neutral (N) and turn off the engine, then restart it<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; If that fails, keep applying firm and continuous brakes<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211; If braking doesn\u2019t work, slowly release the handbrake while firmly holding the steering wheel to regain control<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">&#8211;
