Too often these days, we’re hearing of scams taking place in the UAE (See Emirates<\/a> and Lulu<\/a> hypermarket scams in\u00a0recent weeks).<\/p>\n

Usually an effort to extort money, the scams\u00a0are most often found on social media, however a post from Abu Dhabi Police alerted residents to a telephone scam.<\/p>\n

After a resident recieved a call from a telephone company\u00a0claiming she had won a government competition, she immediately alerted authorities…<\/p>\n
