70 Artists Showcased Their Work In PNCA

Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) launched an art exhibition after a two years gap. Despite that, the exhibition featured 70 artists from across the country with the title ‘The New Odyssey‘.

Secretary Asif Hyder Shah from the Ministry of National Heritage and Culture Division launched the opening ceremony with artists, families, and VIPs. Through PNCA, the exhibition hops to provide a platform to upcoming artists with the chance of entering the art market on a national level. In addition, the event featured 93 paintings plus installations, curated by 70 various artists.

According to Secretary Asif, the event was like sunshine on a cloudy day. The pandemic had REALLY restricted activities, and now Isloo SHINES again!

Gaining exposure towards the regional art industry along with broadening their visions is the key idea PNCA Director had when collaborating for this BEAUTIFUL exhibition. Top students graduating from various art universities of Pakistan got the opportunity to showcase their SUPER IMPRESSIVE work. PNCA is actively promoting Pakistani art both locally and on a national level. The EXTRAORDINARY programmes display traditional and contemporary art pieces, which illustrating an excellent cultural and diverse side of Pakistan.
