When Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar arrived at the address in Lahore’s Sunder area, he was ushered into a room. Moments later, armed thugs burst in, beating him and stripping him of his phone, cash, ATM card, and other valuables. The attackers, led by a woman named Amna, blindfolded him and transported him to an undisclosed location. Qamar’s ordeal didn’t end there. The gang demanded a whopping Rs 1 million for his release. Despite their threats and repeated beatings, he managed to survive the harrowing experience.
The kidnappers eventually dumped him in an unknown location
As soon as the news broke, the Lahore police, registered a case and launched a full-scale investigation. Within hours, they had tracked down and arrested the suspects, including Amna Urooj and her accomplices. Her arrest also revealed a tale shocking truth. Far from being a mere fan, Amna is allegedly a seasoned criminal with a history of similar scams. She often posed as a British citizen to lure her victims, gaining their trust before executing her crimes.
