Malala’s admiration for the athletes didn’t stop at the photo. Earlier on July 26, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) extended a special invitation to her, offering a chance to meet the Olympians and serve as a guest of honor during one of the medal ceremonies.

Sources confirmed that Malala graciously accepted the invitation

“She has accepted the invitation to be part of the Paris Olympics where she would meet the athletes and also distribute medals among the winners of one of the disciplines,” the sources revealed. Malala’s involvement in the Paris Olympics adds a touch of inspiration and encouragement to Team Pakistan, highlighting the powerful connection between sports and global icons of change.
