A major step by WHO expanding the \u2018Wear a Mask, Protect Pakistan\u2019 campaign. The Pakistani representative with his team visited the Islamabad International Airport and distributed the Masks.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Dr. Palitha Mahipala, WHO Representative in Pakistan, and her team visited Islamabad International Airport to distribute masks and IEC materials to passengers and their relatives as part of the \u2018Wear a Mask, Protect Pakistan’ campaign and to encourage the use of non-pharmaceutical public health measures (PHM).<\/span><\/p>\n These COVID-19 prevention methods are effective approaches for slowing the pandemic. With that, the officials were also handed masks.<\/span><\/p>\n Dr. Mahipala addressed travelers and discussed the benefits of adhering to protective health measures. He emphasized to them that wearing masks should become a natural aspect of being among other people.
