Schools in Islamabad will now be teaching a course on animal welfare!! Isn\u2019t that amazing?! Kids will be taught how to care and respect animals. The course will be introduced to both private and public schools and will be taught to 5<sup>th<\/sup> graders. This will be implemented in October, when the course will finally be included in the syllabus.<\/p>\n<p>Salman Sufi took to his twitter to share the significance of this course. Moreover, he also stated that animal rights activists will visit schools and teach children about keeping pets. This will let children understand that pets are not kept for fun but actually acts as a huge responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to this, Sufi also added that it is extremely important for children to understand that they cannot throw stones at stray dogs. Instead, it is better to neuter them. He also related it to the teachings of Islam how the religion teaches us to respect every living being.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>But wait! That\u2019s not all!<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/media.giphy.com\/media\/eeL8EcBBTwSMLACw6F\/giphy.gif\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is a huge issue of people keeping exotic animals and pets while having little to no knowledge. Regardless if one has knowledge or not, keeping an exotic animal as a pet is frowned upon due to obvious reasons. Two of which are the danger of them going extinct and danger to humans of keeping them at home. Therefore, the course will also include the dangers of keeping exotic animals at home. To justify this Sufi added, \u201cWe will tell children that if they can afford these wild animals, it is absolutely unfair to keep them at home. And that importing exotic animals is a big no.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We can all agree how vital it was to start teaching about significance of respecting animals to the kids from a young age. And everyone is extremely glad how this is about to actually happen.
