A <\/span>devastating <\/span>terrorist <\/span>attack <\/span>on <\/span>a <\/span>school <\/span>bus <\/span>in <\/span>Balochistan\u2019s <\/span>Khuzdar <\/span>district <\/span>claimed <\/span>five <\/span>lives, <\/span>including <\/span>three <\/span>young <\/span>students <\/span>and <\/span>left <\/span>multiple <\/span>children <\/span>seriously <\/span>injured, <\/span>according <\/span>to <\/span>a <\/span>statement <\/span>by <\/span>the <\/span>Inter-<\/span>Services <\/span>Public <\/span>Relations (<\/span>ISPR).<\/span><\/p>\n

The <\/span>tragic <\/span>incident <\/span>occurred <\/span>near <\/span>Khuzdar <\/span>Zero <\/span>Point <\/span>on <\/span>Wednesday <\/span>morning, <\/span>when <\/span>a <\/span>blast, <\/span>suspected <\/span>to <\/span>be <\/span>a <\/span>suicide <\/span>attack…<\/span>targeted <\/span>the <\/span>school <\/span>bus <\/span>carrying <\/span>children <\/span>to <\/span>their <\/span>classes<\/span><\/h2>\n

The <\/span>injured <\/span>were <\/span>immediately <\/span>taken <\/span>to <\/span>Combined <\/span>Military <\/span>Hospital (<\/span>CMH) <\/span>Khuzdar, <\/span>with <\/span>the <\/span>more <\/span>critically <\/span>wounded <\/span>being <\/span>shifted <\/span>to <\/span>Quetta <\/span>and <\/span>Karachi <\/span>for <\/span>specialized <\/span>treatment.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The <\/span>ISPR <\/span>labeled <\/span>the <\/span>attack <\/span>as \u201c<\/span>yet <\/span>another <\/span>cowardly <\/span>and <\/span>ghastly <\/span>act\u201d <\/span>orchestrated <\/span>by \u201c<\/span>terrorist <\/span>state <\/span>of <\/span>India\u201d <\/span>and <\/span>executed <\/span>through <\/span>its <\/span>proxies <\/span>operating <\/span>in <\/span>Balochistan. “<\/span>After <\/span>failing <\/span>on <\/span>the <\/span>battlefield, <\/span>India <\/span>is <\/span>resorting <\/span>to <\/span>heinous <\/span>acts <\/span>against <\/span>innocent <\/span>civilians,” <\/span>the <\/span>statement <\/span>read.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Prime <\/span>Minister <\/span>Shehbaz <\/span>Sharif <\/span>condemned <\/span>the <\/span>bombing, <\/span>calling <\/span>it <\/span>a “<\/span>vile <\/span>and <\/span>calculated <\/span>attack <\/span>on <\/span>the <\/span>future <\/span>of <\/span>Pakistan.” <\/span>Expressing <\/span>deep <\/span>sorrow, <\/span>he <\/span>stated <\/span>that \u201c<\/span>targeting <\/span>school <\/span>children <\/span>reveals <\/span>the <\/span>terrorists\u2019 <\/span>hostility <\/span>toward <\/span>education <\/span>in <\/span>Balochistan.\u201d <\/span>He <\/span>vowed <\/span>swift <\/span>justice <\/span>and <\/span>directed <\/span>law <\/span>enforcement <\/span>agencies <\/span>to <\/span>arrest <\/span>the <\/span>perpetrators <\/span>without <\/span>delay.<\/span><\/p>\n

    President <\/span>Asif <\/span>Ali <\/span>Zardari <\/span>also <\/span>strongly <\/span>denounced <\/span>the <\/span>attack, <\/span>calling <\/span>it \u201c<\/span>inhumane\u201d <\/span>and \u201c<\/span>despicable.\u201d <\/span>In <\/span>his <\/span>statement, <\/span>he <\/span>accused <\/span>India <\/span>of <\/span>backing <\/span>terrorist <\/span>groups <\/span>and <\/span>pledged <\/span>that <\/span>Pakistan <\/span>would <\/span>expose <\/span>India’s <\/span>role <\/span>in <\/span>such <\/span>atrocities <\/span>at <\/span>global <\/span>forums.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \u201c<\/span>These <\/span>terrorists <\/span>do <\/span>not <\/span>want <\/span>to <\/span>see <\/span>Balochistan <\/span>developed,\u201d <\/span>said <\/span>the <\/span>President, <\/span>adding <\/span>that <\/span>the <\/span>nation <\/span>remained <\/span>united <\/span>in <\/span>its <\/span>resolve <\/span>to <\/span>eliminate <\/span>terrorism <\/span>in <\/span>all <\/span>forms.<\/span><\/p>\n
