STOP EVERYTHING! A New Solution Will Soon Be Put In Place To Help With Jeddah’s Hectic Traffic

A new project has answered to all our prayers and help ease the usual traffic congestion at the intersection of two MAJOR roads in Jeddah.

According to Saudi Gazette, a SAR 900,000 (US$ 240) million tunnel project is being constructed now at the Prince Muhammad Bin Abdulaziz (Tahlia) Street’s intersection with Madinah Road.

The east-west underpass will extend 650 meters long

And this underpass will have two lanes in Tahlia Street’s every direction.

The project started in mid-December following a variety of studies into its designing. It will also help ease traffic esp during peak hours.
