The Jeddah-Makkah Road Is Now Named After Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman
The Jeddah-Makkah highway is one of the busiest highways in the country. A portion of it right after the Shumaysi check post till Masjid Al Haram now has a new name.
According to the Arab News, the road is now named as Prince Mohammed Ibn Salman Ibn Abdulaziz Road.
The proposal was made by the Secretariat of the Holy Capital and subsequently approved by Makkah’s Governor Prince Khalid Al-Faisal.

The road was named after the Crown Prince considering his immense contribution to the service of Islam and his efforts towards the development of the country.
Even new signboards have been installed in a place that marks the name change of the road.
