We’re already so dependent on Careem and now their new service is making us more dependent on them.
Ramadan is a time when people from Jeddah visit Makkah by the droves. Finding parking in Makkah becomes a hassle as thousands visit Makkah on a daily basis to perform Umrah and pray the Taraweeh prayers.
According to the Saudi Gazette, the bus service by Careem has already started between Jeddah and Makkah and they are charging SAR 25 for a one-way trip.
Following our successful launch in Egypt last year, we’ve now expanded our operations of #CareemBUS in KSA with a direct service between Jeddah and Mecca!

This isn’t Careem’s first bus service, they already run bus services in Cairo. To use the service you have to download the Careem Bus app and then choose your pick up and drop location.
At the moment the service is cash-only.
