Updates: Jeddah Economic City Construction Is Well Underway

The Jeddah Economic City is one of the major upcoming projects that are currently ongoing and will be complete game-changers when completed.

And it has been reported that the infrastructure work of Jeddah Economic City is 90% complete

90% of all road construction and landscaping work is almost completed and construction for buildings is also making progress.

The project will consist of 210 towers that will be over 30 floors high. The centerpiece is to be Jeddah Tower, which is expected to be around 1km tall and will be the world’s tallest building upon completion.

Fady Nassim, executive head of urban planning for Jeddah Economic City, shared the details at the Urban Landscape Saudi 2021 event.

The project will consist of three sectors once it is complete: a financial district, a residential district, and Al-Balad, which will be a contemporary recreation of the old quarter of Jeddah.
