A Snapchatter Spotted The Saudi Football Fan Who’s Walking All The Way To Qatar
The 33-year-old Abdullah Al-Sulami isn’t your ordinary football fan. He’s trekking all the way to Qatar from Jeddah on foot – that’s basically from the east coast of Arabia to the west of it.
He’s been documenting his epic 1,600 journey on his Snapchat. Recently, another Snapchatter, Mubarak Al-Hajri randomly caught up with him while driving through a lesser-ridden highway.
He claims in the video that he’s got approximately 15 days left on his journey.
He also explains how he goes about his day. Al-Sulami states that he begins right after the dawn (fajr) prayer and keeps walking until around 11 a.m. Following that, he takes a break to rest and continues his journey in the afternoon.
