The mountainous cities of Abha and Taif have been named as the “favourite domestic holiday destinations” for Saudis, as per a report by property consultant Knight Frank.
The report published in Arabian Business was based on a survey of 498 households conducted in partnership with YouGov. This shouldn’t come as a surprise, as both cities are known for their natural beauty, rich history, and unique culture.
The mountainous cities of Saudi Arabia have been witnessing a surge in tourism of late, each adding to the number of offerings for tourists with almost every passing month.
The kinds of stays offered to tourists have also changed a lot, with luxurious glamping sites and youth hostels being added to the mix.
