All GCC Residents Will Soon Be Eligible For Visa-Free Entry To Saudi Arabia

Get ready for those Summer road trips guys because Saudi has just announced that it will soon allow most of its neighboring countries visa-free entry

Saudi Arabia will soon launch visa-free travel system, valid for expats with valid residency and work visasi in the GCC countries. Chairman of Saudi Tourism, Ahmed Al Khateeb, explained how travelers will be allowed entry into Saudi Arabia for business, tourism, and umrah purposes, with the exception of Hajj.

All GCC residents with a valid residency and work visa issued in UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar fall in this new category

Some exceptions may be made on certain visa categories including a maid’s or construction worker’s visas. However, all businessmen, professionals, white-collar workers, and other residents with regular income will soon be allowed to travel to Saudi Arabia visa-free.
