In a ceremony attended by SAFF’s Vice President Lamia Bahaian and Aalia Al-Rasheed, head of the Women’s Football Department, AlUla was presented with the championship trophy, marking their remarkable achievement in the presence of their supporters.
Joining AlUla and Al-Taraji in the Premier League next season will be Al-Amal, who secured the final promotion spot by defeating Al-Taqadum in the third-place play-off match. This season of the SAFF Women’s First Division League showcased the talent and determination of 26 clubs, competing across various cities.
With 122 matches played throughout the season, the league has played a significant role in advancing women’s football in Saudi Arabia, reflecting the positive trajectory of the sport’s growth.
As one of several competitions shaping the landscape of women’s football in the Kingdom, the SAFF Women’s First Division League continues to contribute to the flourishing of the game.
