The chips work with RFID (radio frequency identification), which provides all this information an electronic portal. It can also identify numbers of the carpets placed within the mosque and provide barcodes that can be digitally printed. Why the protocol you may ask? Well, these carpets are used by thousands of worshippers daily and MUST be sanitized and cleaned accordingly.
