Jeddah Has A Museum Inside A Mall That Most People Have Never Heard Of

Avatar

Jeddah is now home to a dozen museums, but one that really sets itself apart is unlike the historic alleyways of AlBalad where most of the city’s museums are located — this one is located inside a mall.

Located on the 4th floor of Jeddah Park, the museum is called the House of Islamic Arts. The makers claim it to be the first of its kind in the country.

The best part is the artifacts have pretty detailed descriptions and you’ll have a tour guide to guide you around–now that’s a first for Jeddah.

But unlike other museums in Jeddah that mostly offer free entry, this one charges SAR30 per ticket.

Students have it cheaper at SAR20 for entry.

If you love ornate patterns, geometric designs and are willing to dive into the world of Islamic Arts, there is perhaps no better place in the city to help you with it than here.
