Jeddah’s Airport Calls On All Passengers To Reach The Airport 4 Hours In Advance Amid A Surge In Travellers

Avatar

The King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, has issued an advisory for all passengers through it in the coming few days.

The advisory posted on its official Twitter account calls on passengers to arrive at least four hours before their scheduled departure time.

Why the elongated arrival time, you ask? Well, the large groups that are set to travel out of the country following the end of the Ramadan and Umrah seasons are expected to sprinkle some delays into the mix. With the departure numbers reaching their peak during this season, the airport wants to make certain that everyone takes to the skies without a hitch.

But let’s not go overboard with our punctuality, the airport has also advised passengers not to arrive more than six hours in advance.
