Saudi Residents Can Now Travel Across The GCC Using Their Digital IDs

Those days of carrying your Iqamas while travelling to other GCC-member states are over, as you can now just provide your digital IDs for entrance as per a new statement by the General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat).
They did add, however, that you would still require a visa and need a valid travel document, i.e., your passport.
That statement goes on to add that Saudi residents must adhere to the conditions and requirements set by the country to which they are traveling.

This move will definitively make travelling between GCC member states way easier. Applause for this!
Earlier this year, Saudi Arabia allowed residents of other GCC member states the option of applying for eVisas to the kingdom.
