Technology Takes Over: Check Out How These Robot Vaccums Clean The Holy Kaaba

Hera Shabbir

Technology is always known to make things easier and has now made its way to the roof of the Holy Kaaba

That’s right! 20 minutes in, and the roof of the Kaaba is sanitized and spotless! The General Presidency of the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has allocated vacuum-bots on the roof of the Kaaba, to get the job done ASAP.

The robots work both manually and through an application for around 3 hours tops

This new implementation not only speeds up the whole process, but gets all the little details while cleaning the beautiful and delicate marble. Saudi Undersecretary of the Presidency for Services, Field Affairs and Ensuring Environmental Prevention Mohammed bin Musleh Al-Jabiri advocates the idea as a movement to clean the Holy Mosque efficiently and at a low cost. Saudi looks to use this as a permanent initiative in the future, as a technological advancement for the two Holy cities.
