The Largest World Map Using Plastic Bottle Caps Has Been Made In Jeddah
Kholoud Al-Fadhli is a Saudi woman and sustainability advocate living in Jeddah who just made it to the Guinness Book of World Records.
Al-Fadhli organized and worked on a project to make the world’s largest map, entirely out of plastic bottle caps
She came up with the idea after having a conversation about plastic waste with a student and decided to work on something that can highlight just how much plastic is regularly wasted and to raise awareness of reducing plastic consumption and waste.
Al-Fadhli asked a lot of people to contribute and help her with the project – which they did
And that is how she made a world record.
