This Charming Museum In Jeddah Is An Instagram Favourite And It’s Easy To See Why

Retired Air Force Col. Darwish Al Salamah has been carefully decorating his house with miniatures for the past four decades, but until recently it was a very low key affair. It seems to have caught the eye of Instagram influencers and ever since then this humble place has become one of the most sought after tourist spots in Jeddah.

Just look at the entrance–absolutely stunning!

There are just rows after rows of mosques all inspired by Arabian art forms.

In case you haven’t seen many of the kingdom’s sights, you can see them all here – albeit in miniature form.

The place is so crammed with miniatures that even the outer walls of the museum are lined with artistic creations.

The most surprising part is that Al Salamah never had any formal training or experience before he set out on his endeavor.

And, needless to say he slayed it.
