You Can Now Actually Stay At Jeddah’s UNESCO World Heritage Site

You see those lovely buildings made of coral that are decorated with beautiful rawasheen windows in Jeddah’s Al-Balad? Well, you can now actually stay in them—three of them to be more precise.

Beit Jokhdar Beit Al Rayess and Beit Kedwan have all been converted into boutquie hotels, and guess what? They’re accepting reservations. But they don’t come cheap—staying in luxury in a setting as beautiful as this comes with a price. The cheapest stay you could score here is about SR2,200 for a night.

But if you really want to dive deep into luxury, then there are some rooms like the Beit Jokhdar Royal Suite listed for SR 19,200 for a night.

This whole gig was launched by the Jeddah Historic District Program, with a nod from the Ministry of Culture and a partnership with Al-Balad Development Co. These three hotels are just the start; there’s a bigger plan in the works to turn a total of 34 heritage houses into fancy stays. So yeah, if you’ve ever dreamed of living like royalty in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, now’s your chance!
