After Abu-Dhabi football club Al Wahda’s first-ever victory over the Jeddah-based Al Ahli team on Friday, a video of Al Wahda’s president fainting went viral on Twitter.

In the video, president of the club Hatem Khimi was seen hugging a nearby spectator from the joys of winning when he gradually dropped to the floor.

Many Saudis have since reacted to the video, that has now reached more than 600,000 views on the social media platform.

This is the first time the UAE team secured a win over Al Ahli after a while

According to King Fut, Brazilian player Marcos Guilherme scored a 100th-minute winner that led to the Al Wahda team’s victory at the Saudi Super League.

This is the first win from the team in a while, after having lost to Al Ahli three games prior.
