A Freight Rail Link Between Riyadh And Jeddah Is In The Talks By The Government

The Kingdom is discussing a railway project that should link Riyadh and Jeddah with a couple of major companies. According to Argaam, building a rail project will help ease the process of cargo and other things. Additionally, it will also be useful in providing maintenance for the already existing link, according to Al- Madina Daily.
The project’s contracts might be finalised in a month
As the project’s contracts conclude in a month, this plausible project might come to both cities sooner.
A 950- kilometer railway project called Land Bridge has been completed earlier, Argaam reports. However, this railway is planned to connect the port cities of Jeddah, Damman and Jubail while Riyadh will remain as the dry port.
