Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman handed the King’s Cup to Jeddah’s Al- Ittihad team for beating Harmah City’s at 3-1 during the game at the King Abdullab Bin Abdulaziz Sports City (Al-Jawhara Stadium) in Saturday night.
Saudi Gazette reports that this is the ninth consecutive win for the team in all its history.
And it seems King Salman wasn’t the only one who was pleased but the rest of the Kingdom also joined in tandem, to celebrate the victory.
The crowd watched as the first and second half of the game resulted in a 1-1 draw. But Al- Ittihad managed to score TWO more goals, making their total three- in the little extra time given. If that ain’t perseverance, we don’t know what is.
