King Salman Is Giving Yemen A $2 Billion Aid To Help Alleviate Famine And Economical Suffering

Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Salman has deposited $2 billion to Yemen’s central bank, as announced on Tuesday. According to Saudi Gazette, the kind gesture from King Salman will aid in the overall total deposit to $3 billion. 

The directive decision was done by King Salman to help the Yemeni people with their current suffering. Additionally, the deposit will help alleviate the economic burdens caused by the Iranian Houthi militias, with their plundering of the country’s income. 

The UN has issued a $1.5 billion humanitarian response plan for Yemen, as announced on Monday in a Riyadh conference.

A fully-comprehensive humanitarian aid plan for Yemen was also discussed

The Saudi Cabinet introduced a thorough humanitarian aid plan in Yemen, during a conference in Riyadh, which includes a $1.5 billion contribution by coalition member countries. Along with this, the Cabinet extended accolade towards the foreign ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for their decision during an emergency meeting in Jeddah.
