A part of the old Makkah highway collapsed resulting on Tuesday evening.

A number of vehicles fell into the collapse that took place on the old Jeddah-Makkah highway

It also resulted in a traffic jam

According to reports online, the collapse occurred due to a leak in a water pipeline

People prayed for the safety of those involved in the accident

The incident took place in the Umm al-Salam sub-municipality.
