In March 2017, the UK announced a cabin luggage ban on certain electronic flights from Saudi Arabia and five other countries. The ban included electronic items such as large phones, all laptops, tablets and e-readers.
According to Arab News, the ban has been lifted and passengers will be allowed to carry the earlier banned electronic items on board Saudi Arabian Airlines flights to the UK.
The General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) has announced about the lifting of the ban on its official Twitter account.
