Saudi authorities have officially denied the rumors on social media that a plane supposedly landed on the Jeddah-Makkah highway. The video (now viral), according to Saudi General Authority of Civil Aviation, is inaccurate. Arab News reports that the video was filmed at Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport on September 2015 during a sandstorm.

In the video, the struggle of the plane is seen trying to control as the sandstorm hits and visibility is nonexistent. Vehicles on the street can also be seen as the plane tries to land on a highway.
