Schools In Jeddah And Taif Will Be Closed Tomorrow

The Makkah region is expecting thunderstorms tonight and tomorrow. 

As per Weather.com, the Tuesday forecast for Jeddah states that “Thunderstorms likely in the morning. Then the chance of scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon… Chance of rain 100%.” 

In light of tomorrow’s forecasts, the Twitter handle of the Jeddah Education Department has announced that all schools in the cities of Jeddah, Rabigh and Khulais will be closed tomorrow.

Further adding to that the Makkah Region’s Governate office has also announced on their Twitter handle that schools in the cities of Al Lith, Taif and a few villages surrounding them will also remain closed. The decision was taken to ensure the safety of students.

As soon as the news came in Twitter was abuzz with extremely happy students who started posting tweets like these.
