Women and families will soon be allowed to enter sports stadiums for the first time by 2018, according to the\u00a0BBC.<\/a> This is yet another milestone for development in the Kingdom, soon after Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced plans to modernise Saudi Arabia and boost its economy.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Women will be allowed to enter stadiums in these three major cities…<\/h3>\n

Three major cities in Saudi Arabia are officially opening their doors to women: Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh, according to local officials. Preparations for the three stadiums are set to begin from early 2018, reports say, which would better accomodate women and families.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For the first time the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia allows women into sports stadium to celebrate Saudi National Day. Restaurants, monitor screens and even cool cafes will be installed in the stadiums as part of new changes\u00a0<\/h3>\n

Although certain stadiums in the Kingdom have allowed women to enter before, this is the first time that they will be legally allowed into stadiums. Up until not, these venues have been “men-only” areas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
