The UAE and Saudi Arabia has taken significant steps\u00a0to enter a strategic alliance with the first ever meeting of\u00a0Saudi-Emirati Coordination Council that was held in Jeddah on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
The council was chaired by Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, as well as\u00a0Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia, who\u00a0met at the Peace Palace in Jeddah.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The aim of the meeting was to\u00a0announce the structure of the coordination council to boost “joint collaboration on the implementation of projects and create an Arab model of cooperation.”<\/p>\n
The two leaders have set a five-year time-frame to implement a total of 44\u00a0projects\u00a0promoting economic, developmental and military integration.<\/p>\n
