Architects Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill, the designers that brought us Burj Khalifa, have returned to Dubai for Round 2. They recently unveiled their design for Burj 2020 at Cityscape Global. Expected to tower up to 700 metres, possibly more, this new JLT landmark will be the tallest residential building in the world \u2013 but who knows how long that\u2019ll last: after crowning Dubai with the Burj Khalifa, currently the world record-holder for the tallest building at 830 metres, Smith an Gill one-upped themselves by designing the thousand-metre high Kingdom Tower in Jeddah, scheduled for completion sometime between 2019 and 2020.
