Dubai Creek Tower is currently under construction and once complete it will be the second tallest building in the world.\u00a0<\/p>\n
(It will be taller than the Burj Khalifa, however the Jeddah Tower, a building currently under construction in Saudi Arabia, will be the world’s tallest building once complete in 2019).<\/p>\n
But the Tower is not the only reason to get excited about the Creek, because right now it’s undergoing a total revamp and you can expect to hear a lot more about this area of Dubai in the coming months.<\/p>\n
Introducing Al Seef; a project by Meraas<\/h3>\n
Meraas is the same company to develop popular areas such as The Beach at JBR and CityWalk and phase one is now open for visitors!<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n
A 1.8km stretch of\u00a0casual retail and dining outlets is your Saturday plans sorted<\/h3>\n

The idea for the project to incorporate the personality, culture and heritage of Old Dubai while modernising and enticing more tourists to the area<\/h3>\n<\/figure>\n
Once complete the area will include a floating market, 500 outlets and three hotels<\/h3>\n
A couple of dining outlets are already open and you can access the area by taxi, water taxi, Dubai Metro (Al Fahidi Metro Station\u00a0and\u00a0Burjuman Metro Station) or by car.<\/p>\n
